Preliminary Results are in
Ryan finally got ahold of the genetic counselor! The preliminary FISH results show that there is no spina bifida, no Downs Syndrome and no Trisomy 18, and that it is a girl!!!!!!!!!!! I think I am in shock! I have spent the last month preparing myself to accept a fatal disease for my child and now I find out I am having a healthy baby girl!!!!!! I am so very happy and relieved. We do still have to wait 10 more days for the full chromosomal panel, but now that Trisomy 18 is off the table, I can breathe again!!!
